Why Iota Delta?

There is not one particular reason to join a sorority. Every organization offers something a little different, and every girl is looking for something a little different. First, keep an open mind about Greek life and about each sorority. Learn as much as you can about each organization, meet active sisters and alumnae, and ask lots of questions.

It is no secret Greek life can be an enriching and life-changing experience that leads to new opportunities. It is the chance to meet new friends, participate in philantphropy, develop leadership skills, network on and off campus, participate in Greek events and socials, and ultimately join a family away from home that will love and support you for life. And remember, even though we wear different letters, we are all Greek together.

Iota Delta is more than a sorority - it is a family. While we may all start as strangers, we quickly develop friendships and bonds that continue to grow every day. As sisters, we are a support system for each other through thick and thin. Our sisterhood is unmatched and the love of Iota Delta stays with each sister beyond graduation. We have a diversity like no other and value the individuality of each sister. Iota Delta is a place where girls can truly be themselves, build confidence, improve strengths, and graduate as confident women who are loved and supported by sisters for life.

In addition to this, Iota Delta provides helpful tools to be successful in school and beyond, such as study sessions, homework help, formal meetings, and mock interviews. We encourage scholastic excellence above all, as well as leadership, campus involvement, professionalism, community service, and personal growth.

We have seven core values:  Sisterhood, Scholarship, Character, Leadership Potential, Interfraternal Peace, Consideration for the General Public, and Respect for Non-Greeks. These values are very close to our hearts and modeled by sisters in every activity.

We help our sisters be the best they can be, while sticking to our motto, "All you have to be is you."

Why should I go Greek?

What does it mean to be an I-Delt?

"Being an I-Delt means having the confidence to do the impossible, to have the strength to overcome my fears, and the support to take those leaps of faith. It means for every bump in the road, every monster in the closet, and every broken heart, there is a sister with shoulders to lean on, an ear to listen with, and a heart filled with love."
